Today is a new beginning! The past is gone and all we have is today! Worrying about yesterday is a waste of our time and keeps us from moving forth in what God wants to do in our lives. If I could go back in time and change some things in my own life I would! But I can't and I realize I only have today! Today to choose who I will follow and what I believe in. Also, to let go of my yesterdays, to forgive and also to forgive myself; and be all I can be for God, to set an example for those that see Christ in me, the hope and glory!
Once we come to God and receive Jesus Christ as our Savior we are now new creatures in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away and we become new! ( II Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new). Let's remember, God said in His Word, I will blot out your transgressions! (Isaiah 43:25&26, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Don't let devil keep you in condemnation and fear from your past! Resist him in the mighty name of Jesus. The devil will try to keep you in fear and condemnation of your past! Your sins from yesterday have been blotted out! You are a new creature in Christ Jesus! When your enemy comes against you, quote the Word of God to him, tell him it is written!! That's our sword against the enemy's lies.
Whatever you may be going through today, submit to God, resist the enemy and he has to flee! (James 4:7, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you). Call on God and He will answer you. How do I know this? Because the Word of God declares it! (Psalm 91:14&15, Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.He shall call upon me,and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation).
Be blessed today! In Jesus Name, Amen
